Less than a week to the presidential polls and a day to the end of the distribution of the permanent voters card (PVC), most states especially in the southern part of the country have continued to complain about the pains involved in collecting their card.
Note, without this card such electorate won't be able to exercise their right.
This however can't be said about their northern counterpart as collection has been stress free. But a state is in contention, Kano.
This state was a decider in the 2015 elections and again the ruling party is still banking on the state for their mass vote and the promise of the governor to deliver over 2 million votes but allegations has been made against the state that child voters especially children under the age of ten are in possession of the PVCs and are used to influence the tide of the elections.
The question us, how does INEC hope to crumb this menace as the state is seen as a violent state especially during elections and any attempt to stop these kids from voting will be seen as sabotage rewarded with death for the unfortunate fellow.
