The University of Reading, United Kingdom is currently offering school of construction management and Engineering Scholarships to international students who have interest in acquiring a degree program at the university.

The on going construction management and engineering scholarship program is designed to offer 3 scholarship worth of £3,000 each to the strongest international students and 3 scholarship worth of £2,000 each to the strongest UK and EU students.


Application deadline: First round of the Construction Management and Engineering scholarship program ends on 1 March 2019 and the second round will end on 1 of June 2019.

Eligible countries: Strictly for International countries.

Degree type: Master’s.

Eligible field of study are listed below.

MSc Construction Management

MSc Design and Management of Sustainable built Environments

MSc Construction in emerging Economies

MSc Information Management for design, Construction and Operation

Eligibility of Student:

1.The applicant must have an offer of admission to one of the master’s listed above to be able to study on a full time basis on the ongoing scholarship program.

2.The applicant must show a certificate which proves that he or she have completed the Bachelor degree program.

3.The applicant must have a good command of English.

does that mean one has to still pay tuition aside the 3000 pounds? I asked because the tuition for those courses are more than 10,000 pounds

Scholarship or No scholarship!

I still believe that British education are crazy too expensive for Nigerians given the exchange rate between the British Pound Sterling and the Nigerian Naira.

British education are for the super rich.

After all the spending! Spending! Nigerians student returnee roam the streets of Nigeria jobless.

The politicians father and mother who refuse to build our institutions or develop our economy have no companies to refer their children to work.

The rough economic terrains politicians create in Nigeria which has dastardly resulted in lack of industries that can create jobs is now affecting the children of our economic saboteurs.

Their unemployed children are only given pocket money.

But no government work for them.

That is the laws of karma.

That’s not a scholarship at all. What’s 3k out of over 15k pounds Tuition...

Plus living expenses in Reading would be like 10k pounds a year...

Let alone cost of Visa, health insurance and Air tickets!
