Leadership of Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) with it affiliate Unions ; Trade Union Congress (TUC) and United Labour Congress (ULC) today Monday 11th February 2019, adopted the state Governor Mr Udom Emmanuel as the sole gubernatorial candidate for the 2nd March 2019 Governorship election.

The adoption came on the heels of a motion sponsored by the NLC Vice Chairman, Comrade Iboro Ibara and seconded by the TUC Publicity Secretary, Comrade Obot Asuquo, during a visit by the Governor to the state NLC at the Labour House, Atan Offot, Uyo.
