WE ALL NEED SENSE IN A SENSELESS SOCIETY!
#Election #IPOB #Nigeria #Youths #Riots #Voting

At a time like this when Nigerians are expected to unite against senselessness, record-breaking incompetence, irresponsibility and impunity in governance; many of us have been relegated to different factions separated along ethnic divides, religion and sycophancy to satisfy their rather stupid self interests. It is even worse to see that with all of the lessons of late 60's, many of us are still yet to learn a thing or two about what difference peace or violence could make in nation building or to freedom of self-determination. Our youngs are on the street to implement a well-orchestrated plan they know nothing about, all in the name of boycotting election. Wise people often say that those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. For some reason I am angry this morning and just felt like typing my hands off!

Hear this, the Igbos is a blessed race. God, from creation typically blessed us to survive anywhere and rule over anything. What we feel is a problem today is a result of serial mistakes our fathers made and continue to make. Before embarking on freedom fighting, we need to unite first. And our unity shouldn't be built on abject tout-ism and stupidity of one self-acclaimed messiah who has no master plan. Freedom fighting starts with alignment of forces, power, intellect and influence - not a gathering of misinformed youths. Go back to history and see how everything our fathers have worked for were lost in an unprepared war. Ojukwu of blessed memory, who saw what many of us never saw warned that we don't repeat his mistake - and today we are on the streets inciting violence against ourselves. Tufiakwa!

I have said this repeatedly that we have only 2 races in Nigeria:
1. The "Haves" (the rich and politicians fall here).
2. The "Have Nots". (The average, less than average and the poor).

Look around you and see how many of the bad incidences happening in Nigeria is affecting the privileged children. The average and poor among us are the ones dying in accident, lavishing at home over ASUU strike, being used as instrument to rig elections, going to jail or getting lynched over unverified theft allegation, dying of hunger, etc. How many of the things affecting you affect the rich or the politicians? Come abroad and see kids of Wealthy Nigerian Politicians lavishing your country's resources and you could do is stay there and play idiots to politicians? Hunger doesn't know color my people. Poverty doesn't strike along ethnicity or religion. We should come together and get things right.

Dear Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas and every other tribe; we need sense and we need unity in purpose at this time. This is not a time to shout no elections on the streets or threaten to kill your people for coming out to vote. This is not a time to say it doesn't concern you. It is not a time to say I will vote him or her because he is from my tribe. This is not the time to fight or curse one another. This is not the time to listen to any self-acclaimed messiah to tell you when to vote, who to vote or when not to vote. That vote is your right. We can't be calling our country Zoo when we still provide "Nigeria" as our country of origin in forms. Ain't we deceiving ourselves? Without power freedom is impossible. I am one advocate that believe Nigeria need to split, but doing the right thing the wrong way has never brought any one a good result - unless by chance. Freedom fighting is not a game of chance and shouldn't be treated as one.

When and if Nigeria has to split, we would need a more sophisticated plan, pattern, dialogue, consultations, negotiations, etc and maybe not even just for the Igbos alone. Nigeria is a whole 3 countries in one. Instead of hurting ourselves, why not make this a collective movement? Why not get the rest of the tribes see reasons to either join the movement or join voices to get theirs? Freedom is not won on the streets!

We can't all sit at home and be brewing fire against ourselves and central government when Governors, Senators, House or Reps/Assembly, LGA Chairmen, Councillors and Traditional Rulers are busy squandering resources under our feet. Why not start fixing the system from home? Vote credible Governors, Senators, House or Reps/Assembly, LGA Chairmen, Councillors and Traditional Rulers, get reasonable men in there, fix the system from within before demanding freedom? How many of our Governors, Senators, House or Reps/Assembly, LGA Chairmen, Councillors and Traditional Rulers are in this fights? If none, why? We are still the problems we have and until we solve it from within we are going nowhere.

An average Nigerian (including Hausas, Yorubas and other tribes) do not have good education, no good hospital, no security, no job, no power, no social amenities, and the list goes on and on. This is not an Igbo problem! What we need is a reasonable government. A government that can bring competence into a failing system, enact and enforce policies that will bring discipline to public services and politics and rectify the growing decadence in everything Nigerian. Then rebuild the unity or peacefully plan restructuring or possible splits.

Stop the nonsense and open your eyes! Do whatever you can to unseat this government - including non performing Governors, Senators, House or Reps/Assembly, LGA Chairmen, Councillors, etc! The Presidency alone is not enough to solve our problems. It is shameful when one watch all of the madness going on in the name of campaigns and freedom fighting, it won't work this way people!
