There are strong indications that Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara against all odds is heading back to the House of Representatives for the fourth time. Results so far released from Zwall the collation centre of Dass/Tafawa-Balewa /Bogoro Federal Constituency of Bauchi State showed that the Speaker who contested under the opposition PDP polled a total of 72,334 votes while his main challenger of the ruling APC, Dalhatu Abubakar Kantana polled a total of 51,664 votes. As at the time of this report only a total of about 600 votes were outstanding from Kopti unit where elections did not hold on Saturday due to faulty card reader. INEC was yet to make an official pronouncement on the next line of action to be taken for the unit. RESULT FOR BOGORO/DASS/TAFAWA BALEWA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY OF SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HON. YAKUBU DOGARA : Bogoro LGA PDP 25,339 APC 3,216 DASS LGS PDP 10,222 APC 16,664 TAFAWA BALEWA LGA PDP 36,773 APC 31,784 Grand Total PDP 72,334 APC 51,664 Only about 600 votes outstanding from Kopti unit where elections didn’t hold yesterday due to faulty card reader.
