The 2019 presidential election in Nigeria was held on February 23, 2019 nationwide. INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu commenced the process by calling on the party agents to inspect the materials for the collation of results to ensure that they are in order.


The collation is taking place at the National Collation Centre inside the International Conference Centre in the Nation’s capital Abuja. The national collation centre adjourned at 00.45am on Tuesday to reconvene at 10am.

In the results declared on Monday, Buhari won in Osun, Kogi, Gombe, Ekiti, Nasarawa, Yobe, Kwara, Niger, Jigawa, Kaduna, Bauchi, Lagos, Ogun,while Atiku won in FCT Abuja, Ebonyi, Ondo, Abia Enugu, Anambra, Oyo, Adamawa.
