Elections are the only opportunity that the masses have in a democratic government to change a nonperforming government and enthrone a people oriented and development driven governance within their locality.

As we March into the 9th of March 2019 Abians will be faced with the choice of either moving the state forward or further sliding into deeper state of undervelopment and massive suffering that we have witnessed under the present PDP led government in Abia state.

Abians over the years have suffered a lot of untold hardship due to ineptitude, lack of care for our elder citizens (Pensioners) and the Abia populace, lack of basic infrastructure such as roads, water, good schools etc.

In Abia, civil servants are being owed between six to 14 months, teachers have abandoned the class rooms because of the inability of government to pay their hard earned and legitimate wages

Despite being an oil producing state, Abia as at today is unarguably rated as one of the most backward states in the whole of the south east and south south, if not in the entire federation, we have had leaders who placed personal interest above the general interest and development of the state.

Abia is amongst the states with high rate of graduate unemployment, the only available industry in Abia state is thuggery, insecurity is now the order of the day in the streets of aba and Umuahia and rather than the government to seek a lasting solution to it, it chose the lazy and comical approach of shutting down the economic and social activities in Umuahia and aba by 9pm daily.

They have introduced divisive political ploys and have kept us along the ethnic lines of Ukwa/Ngwa versus Old Bende all in a bid to achieve their personal targets of fractionalizing us against our selves only to abandon us after they have achieved their selfish aim.

Abians are wiser, salaries are not only owed to the Old bende civil servant, bad roads are not limited to the Ukwa Ngwa’s, Ukwa/Ngwa pensioner is not spared of the wicked treatment being dished out to them by the state government, we are all in this sufferings together and together we shall rescue ourselves through the ballot box.

Let’s vote for the man who will take Abia to the promised land, let’s vote for the man who has transformed his community into an industrial haven, let’s vote for the man who has the solution and craft to revive Abia’s comatose economy and create jobs for our youths, lets vote for the man with the proven ability to create jobs and empower our youths, lets vote for the man who has investments and stakes across Abia, lets vote for the man with the passion and vision to make Abia a proud destination.

Let’s vote for Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah for Abia to Rejoice.
