Unfortunately, most churches choses the part of Bible that suit their desire whereas a true Church follows ONLY the pattern of the creator of the Church which is Christ Jesus. So any church that believe anything OTHER than Christ and his Apostles isn't a Church.

I think we should be talking about things that would move us forward as a people. Arguing about Christian denominations won't make the denominations go away. In fact, expect more denominations to spring up. The simple reason is greed. Everyone wants to be a G.O., Bishop, Arch Bishop, Papa and most importantly, the collector and controller of the "holy tax" called tithe.

That rock is the rock of revelation and not Peter. So quote something else.

It's God's command to evangelise and some of the men of God were called by God to establish their church, if we had just a church, that church won't expand, you remember Revelation, when it talked of different churches, so having different churches is not a bad idea but the truth must be preached and obeyed.

So we can have options and no excuse. It's just like we having different types of food. You have no reason to starve. If you don't like a type of food, you go for the other. There should be something that suits you and meet your needs and taste.
