Aalo is a short story competition targeted at celebrating the ability to tell beautiful stories. The competition is open to all. It is a literary competition with focus on SHORT STORIES
Each participant is expected to submit/upload a short story with maximum of 2000 words through the registration page. It must be in English language. However, participants are free to use words or phrases in a local languages provided the words are italicized and the meaning in a bracket after the word or phrase.
Each entry must be in either Microsoft word document or PDF document. Each participant is permitted to submit only one story per entry.
REQUIREMENT FOR REGISTRATION
Each participant is to pay registration fee of N2000
Participants must be Nigerian or resident in Nigeria to participate. Winners will be required to present proof of residence and nationality to receive prizes won.
Where the winner is found not to meet the requirement, he/she forfeit the prize and his/her entry at the point of discovery stands disqualified.
To participate in this competition, participants are required to fill out the registration form, upload their entries and make payment to submit.
