It couldn't predict the germ theory of disease that once killed almost half of the world's population, antibiotics, electricity, internet, electromagnetism, and many other important discoveries that have made our lives better. It predicted a useless, ambiguous prophesy that can be interpreted to mean many things. What a waste of papyrus!

It seems to always depend on the reader. In my observation, not many people really care what the Bible says, so they don't realize that it talks about a lot of things they presume that it doesn't. For example, while the specifics are certainly not there (they would have been incomprehensible to the people that the prophets of old were prophesying to), the Bible did say that at this point in history where we are "people shall go to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."

It also prophesied several times about diseases that would decimate populations because of chronic human disobedience against God. Considering that ultimately the biological agents that cause these diseases are God's Own Creation, and that the time of history during which the prophecies were made was not a technologically advanced one, the Bible did not need to talk about the mechanisms involved.

Also, when you speak of making life better, that probably depends on how you are looking at it. The preponderance of sophisticated technology today certainly has made material living in many places across the world enviable. But human life has essentially remained the same: human beings are born, they experience both suffering and enjoyment in the course of their life to make a clear emphatic choice about God, and they die. This has never changed.

Even with the improvement of facilities, suffering in this life, whether physical or mental, simply cannot be extinguished. Those who saw the days before technology sometimes think that these days are worse than the old days. Those who never saw the old days sometimes think that there have never been better days. It depends on what one is looking for. From the spiritual point of view, human life has always remained the same, as I said.

As for the ambiguity of prophecy, I wouldn't blame you alone for such a thought. Many people who take the position of spiritual leadership in the Church visible, that is, who take responsibility to teach others about God and what the Bible says, convey that impression. But biblical prophecy is not ambiguous at all. It is not easy to understand, but every time that anyone misinterprets biblical prophecy, they know in themselves that they have because the details of the prophecy (and biblical prophecy is always incredibly detailed) misalign with the application/interpretation. When the interpretation is correct, it is always like solving a puzzle because every piece is in its right slot. You know it when you do it, and those who hear your interpretation also recognize it to be correct too, even if they vehemently disagree and lie about their ability to see it (you can always tell that they are lying when you listen to their objections).

So, the Bible has always been relevant. Unfortunately, human beings have also always been arrogant, so very many of them have not been benefited by the Bible's incredible usefulness in dealing with life.

I'm afraid I can't watch this video, but the subject is important to me and also for other believers, so I'll share something of what I know.

There are two political entities spoken of with respect to the Tribulation: Rome and Babylon.

The Antichrist will begin his campaign for world domination from the latter and through its power come to reconstitute and take over the former as ruler. So, he will be king of both Babylon and Rome. Eventually, Rome will be his seat of power from where he will launch his world conquest. With the power of both (especially the former), he will annex the entire world to himself. No country will escape his power.

As for the identity of these entities, Rome is obviously Western Europe, including all the territories once held by the historical empire. Babylon, however, used to be in the North and East of Israel. This is not where it is likely to be in the Tribulation. From what may be observed at the moment, Tribulational Babylon is going to be the US, except that it will be a completely different country than it is now, in terms of its moral character.
