Chiwetel Ejiofor is a great actor and has been terrific in everything he's done and it's unfortunate that people want to make this a tribal thing. We should all be proud of a great up-and-coming African actor and people from the specific ethnicity he comes from are well within their rights to be particularly proud of him as one of their own (and I'm saying this as a non-Igbo).

I still remember way back when 2face sang African queen d song was used as a sound track on "phat girl" an hollywood film. He was simply referred to as an African artiste and not an artiste from Benue or whatever. RMD,omotola , Genny,Olu jacob, Ramsey Noah, etc acted in one foreign movie or other. They were simply referred to as Nigerian and not by their tribe. Sometimes I always think inferiority complex is d problem igbo people are suffering from in relation to this post...
