In a new twist, Kwara PDP gubernatorial candidate, Razak Atunwa has pulled out of the gubernatorial race. He announced his withdrawal minutes ago after series of meetings with stakeholders of the party and pledged support for the development of the state by supporting whoever emerges. Asked why he waited till the morning of the day of the election, his spokesperson said this was due to the pressure on him especially from the party leader Bukola Saraki and all the House of Assembly candidates whose chances will be affected if he had pulled out earlier. He asked his supporters to troop out en masse to support all the PDP candidates in the house of Assembly race.
