As Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Kwara State takes lead in the governorship election, his supporters have taken to the streets of Ilorin to celebrate him as he is predicted to win the election. He has polled a total of 208, 518 votes of the 11 local Government Areas(LGAs) results that have been announced while his main opponent, Hon. Razaq Atunwa has polled 72, 167 votes so far.
