The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the statistics of candidates that registered for the 2019 UTME and Direct entry based on faculty in Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

According to the stats released, the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy & Health Sciences topped the list with a total of 435,897 registered candidates applying for various courses under the faculty. See the full breakdown below.

Everybody wants to go to school because of what the society feels.. the earlier we start knowin that school doesn’t really determine ones future imthe better for us.. I’m not denying the fact that it might open doors of opportuinity but if you are determined and smart enough you can also reach greater places..

our society is still far from that level where people can choose an option of not going to school....

down there in the western world, their high school gives enough for anyone to live life with

you cant say that about our secondary schools in nigeria.....

most people actually learn their left from their right in the universities by meeting new people from separate different homes

Exactly, but you should know that in a machanizes farm, just 10 agriculturist can handle an Hectare of land or even more. And number of applicants will increase in all faculty, because population also increases fast, so we need more farmers and the rest in the world.
