Governments always cutting the top of a problem and never addres the problem from the root. Government take over and area boys wahala is the reason some landlord has refused to demolish their houses. On the island if u demolish house today, just keep money that is more than the one u will use in building the house for area boys settlement. As if that isn't enough, some scrupulous elements are always snooping around to take over any land that u don't start building asap

Always knew idiotic wawa scums like this would show up..Maybe Lagos state government should just demolish all the Igbo owned properties and send them back to the village so we can be free of their immature whining and dumb nagging for once. Dangote owns the largest single property in Lagos we no hear noise from any hausa person ,ben Bruce an ijaw man owns property all over Lagos no noise, most of the hotels in Lagos are owned by yoruba and edo people no noise, but these flatheadedd nonentities with disgusting inferiority complex won't let us hear word with their 2 by 2 shops.
when your brother alhaji Adewale said that an igboman who has been doing everything good thing for him should not buy a property he (igboman)developed for no reasons is when I know that some comments here should not just be waved aside and it is not wailing. You trespass Abokis,he will give you Agege-like treatment without thinking it twice but an igboman would reason and respect life. So the so-called wailing may not be far for the truth. I live amongst your people, their beefs on igbos are just senseless, baseless and unprovocative, ask a neutral aboki man.

The developers deliberately built the one that would last for the period of their agreement. They ought to be arrested. Very greedy set of people. This is a big lesson for all others having the intention of giving their properties to developers. It is well.

I think the forfeiture of the land should be left for a court to Judge. There are lot of facts that could lead to building collapse which the owner of property could be innocent from. Also the Government should ensure that there is insurance paid on every building in lagos this will help bring sanity to the system as the insurance companies will make developers sit up
. Insurance is already a requirement for building over 2 floors.(ground and first)
