Saraki Signs National Minimum Wage Bill by midolian(m): 1:17pm On Mar 20, 2019


Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Wednesday morning, signed the Senate’s version of the National Minimum Wage Bill, 2019 (SB 722).

The Bill passed the Third Reading stage at the Senate on Tuesday.

It's easy to sign for him..but extremely difficult to pay even 10,000 minimum wage in his state...

Many still don't believe in Kwara state, till date, the minimum wage is 8,500...

Lovely but this one that we are hearing they planned increasing VAT to be able to pay the new minimum wage is unacceptable..

Finally, make sure that the senate is independent by ensuring the senators vote for their preferred leader not the party.

Good job. But Buhari should review it very well before signing it. Saraki has a legacy of inserting frivolities into bills. Otherwise, we are good to go.
