Ihedioha, State Assembly Members Receive certificate of Return

In his response, after receiving the Certificate of Return the Imo Governor Elect Chief Emeka Ihedioha who applauded the conduct of the Independent National Electoral Commission Imo State and security agencies in their roles during the election.

“You conducted an election as enshrined by the laws of our land and according to the guard lines you set out prior to this election, I will also commend the security agencies for ensuring the success of the election, and they acted with courage and discipline”.

Chief Emeka Ihedioha noted that under his watch democracy shall be practiced as enshrined in the 1999 constitution, observe independence and respect for the legislative arm of government and at the same time the judicially arm of government would work hand in hand with executive.

“As for us in the Executive, we shall do all within our powers to ensure that the liberation struggle in Imo State is a true reality, we shall run a government that is responsible in every sense of the law, for us good governance shall be defined by how the people free, how the people become happy, we appreciate the doctrine of necessity”.
