Focus: The Power of Motivation

WORD FOR TODAY
You must not go on in the journey of destiny like a coward; you must be motivated to move on and reach your goals in the direction of God's will for your life irrespective of what happens and the threat before you!!!

Scriptural Reference
"Be strong and conduct yourselves like men, you Philistines, that you do not become servants of the Hebrews, as they have been to you. Conduct yourselves like men, and fight!" (1Samuel 4:9 NKJV)

In 1 Sam 4; we saw two categories of people, the Israelites and the Philistines. The Israelites made a very loud noise which terrified the Philistines when they brought the ark of covenant to the battle front. But the Philistines motivated themselves and defeated the Israelites even with the ark of covenant on their side.

Motivation is important in becoming what God wants you to be. It is not enough for God to have wonderful plans for your life you must be motivated to enter into it against all odds.

One of those things the enemy targets in the battle of life is to ensure you are not motivated. A man who is not motivated in the battle of life is more or less a dead man still living. To eat the fruit of the land you must be motivated. No matter what happens be motivated to move on in the journey of destiny.

Prayer Point
Lord! Help me to be strong and courageous to fulfill divine purpose and mandate in Jesus name. Amen!!!
