She could still remember the joy she felt in her heart after she was told she was pregnant for twin girls. After ten good years of fruitless marriage,one could only imagine how happy she and her husband were. She could remember the way the prepared for the bundles of joy. She could remember her husbands eagerness for the babies to finally come into his arms.
THEN TRAGEDY STRUCK
On the day the delighted parents would finally touch their children,an enemy said they wouldn't enjoy the two and stole one of them taking her to a far away place. It felt like a dream to her and a fairy tale but it was real as hell. Someone was angry. She could remember the fury that lingered in his heart due to the loss. He had almost even shut down the hospital due to carelessness on their part. They searched for culprit and victim all to no avail. She was gone and she thought,would never return.
But destiny had other games to play with her

Episode 1
Rose slowly got up from the bed and stretched her arms as she yawned. She placed her two hands on her head as she remembered the events of last night. She was wild. Yes,she had almost drunk herself to death and had gotten up with a splitting headache but she was still excited nevertheless. She got down from the bed,had her bath and dressed up to meet her parents downstairs who'd probably,she guessed, be having breakfast by now. She was right. Her parents were both munching a meal of bread tea and egg saucce likely prepared by the maid. "Morning mum,morning dad'' she greeted as she pecked them. "Morning sweetie,how was your night?" "Good"she replied her mom as she sat down. There was silence for some time"how really was your night Rose?don't think I didn't see you staggering in late of course"said her dad facing his meal"whatever"she replied nonchalantly"Rose?"Her mother cautioned"look dad,why are you so interested in my whereabouts?the lats time I checked I'm way past eighteen and I'm supposed to be independent"she said"And the last time I checked,I am still your father. And this is my house so anything I say,goes!"He stamped. Rose furiously stood up"listen dad,if the bleeping problem is that I'm living in this bleeping house then I'll leave. I don't need anyone bleeping bossing me around anymore,ok?"She spat as she took her purple handbag and left. Susan and Richard just watched on.

"Who do they think they are,bossing me around. I'm way past twelve"she complained to her friend Doris as she drew in her cigar. She had long arrived school and after the days lectures,decided to meet up with her short,dark and plain looking friend Doris at the canteen."But why are your parents so dry na,ah ah?can't they let their daughter have a break again?"She asked as she punched her smartphone"I don't know. Not that I care though,they can't put me under their feet again." He says he will link me to Justin Bieber as they are cousins" she shrieked. Rose shook her head at her friends naiveness. "Hey,look whose coming!"She said as Rose turned her back to see a tall,fair skinned hunk approaching them with a smile. She smirked in response and crushed her cigar."Yo babes,what's up?"He asked as he sat with them"high Edwin". Edwin ignored her and looked at Rose attracting a twinge of jealousy on Doris' part"so,did you arrive home safely last night?"He asked"I did,thanks for the ride by the way"she replied as she bit her lips"hope your owners didn't behead you?"He asked. She shook her head"Didn't know you smoked by the way"he said as he smelt her breath "makes me feel alive"she responded"you are a baad girl Rosie. Ngozi picked the last of the cassavas before placing them in the basket. She stretched a little. It had been a hectic and harsh day in the farm and by the time she had already harvested all the matured cassavas,she was exhausted. She carried the basket on her head,flung her hoe over her shoulder before she looked around and then left
She hadn't gone much of a distance when she met her best and childhood friend,Emeka. One would think they were siblings due to their closeness. Emeka was a tall,dark and slim but baby faced hardworking young man who was 22,two years older than Ngozi. When he saw her,he smiled. "Ngo,kedu,how far now?" "I'm fine"she replied"are you going home? Let me escort you" "but you are going the other way"she replied"o,don't worry,I'm not in a haste"he smiled. She agreed and they both made their way to her house"let me help you with your basket"he offered"don't wo.."But before she could finish,he had already snatched the basket away from her"You don't have to help me Emeka. I'm not pregnant,neither am I old" he shrugged his shoulders"as long as you are my friend,I'm fine"he winked and she smiled. Their was silence between them for a while "oh"he broke the silence"I heard that prince Uchenna will be returning from the states in a few days time and the royal family is holding a homecoming party in his honour

Both of them dashed into the house and jaw dropped at what they saw. Obinna held his wife Beatrice on the neck and banged her neck on the green wall continuously. "Papa!"Ngozi. Emeka rushed and separated obinna from the now panting woman using all his strength. "Idiot,foolish woman. So if I ask you for money,it will now be a cause for insult?" "Papa please stop Ngozi pleaded as she rushed to console. Her mother. "Don't worry,I'll be back"Obinna said before dashing out of the house. Emeka turned to them and shook his head in pity. Rose arrived home some hours to noon. She knocked on the extra large gate of her estate located house when it was thrown open by a dark tribal marked hausa man who was their gate man"ah!Madam Rose,wey you dey since?"He asked in his typical hausa accent"are you gonna just stand there asking me silly questions,or are you gonna let me in?"She asked codescendingly. "No vex oo"he gave way for her to walk in. She looked around and noticed the place was too quiet"are my parents out?"She asked"yes,since, small madam. Oga and big madam carry car go look por you since you no come home last night!". She hissed"whatever"she walked away while Yahaya just stared at her and shook his head.
Iniobong,their short,obese and pig faced maid,probably over sixty must have heard foot steps and the door opening downstairs and walked down. "Rose?"She asked as inally walked down the staircase and came to the sofa where Rose was removing her shoes. "Where have you been?we have been worried sick about you child". Rose didn't mind Iniobongs inquisitiveness. She had seen her as her second mother since she was practically the one that raised her up since her parents were hardly ever around "Ini,I'm fine. Iniobong called George and Susan and they hurried home with a few policemen. There was worry apparently written all over their faces. "Where is she Ini?"George asked as he walked in with Susan and their police escorts. "Rose!!!"Ini called and soon Rose was seen walking downstairs. She rolled her eyes at the sight of her parents. Susan ran towards her and locked her in a warm embrace,tears rushing out. "Stop being so dramatic mom"Rose said as she softly attend her on the back"why is everyone acting like I died?"She asked. "Because we thought you had! What were you thinking spending the whole night outside until this time?"George asked"are you mad?" "Look,I'm sorry dad. I just wanted to hang out!" "Without my consent?"He asked again "must you know everything about me?aren't I old enough to carter for myself!"She cried but was replied with a slap from George. "George!"Susan cried "when you talk to me,you talk with respect" he scolded. Rose stared at hime before finally uttering "BLEEP YOU". She stormed out and left the entire spectators in shock,except George. He wasn't really surprised that Rose was so defiant. It was due to him spoiling her. He regretted his life.

Susan threw the door open only to see her recklessly squeezing some clothes in her purple travelling bag. It seemed her room was purpulized. Even the ceiling fan was painted purple. The room also had large pictures of half naked male and female celebrities and an extra large picture of a purple rose in the middle of the room.

"Can't you see?I'm leaving this house"she replied still forcing clothes in her bag

Prince Uchenna had smiles all over his face as he stared outside the car window. He admired the beautiful scenery of the great Ngalaba kingdom which was known all over Imo state for its large population,mineral resources and tourists attractions. A lot had changed since he was last here at age 17 before he left for the states to study petrochemical engineering. Ngalaba had been given a great face lift. He couldn't believe that all these would be his someday. His thoughts suddenly drifted to his grand return home. He returned Saturday,had his excellent homecoming party on Sunday. Today was Monday and his father had insisted on him taking a tour of the village. Suddenly,his driver made a turn at a bend which lead to the great Uli river.
"My Prince,we have arrived"said Udenna his dark,handsome,muscular but short personal body guard as the car came to the halt. Uchenna nodded his head. Soon,two other body guards sitting at the far back seat jogged out of the car. They were dressed in a yellow traditional vest with a pair of yellow shorts to match and a red Ibo cap. The taller of the guards opened prince Uchenna's door and he walked out majestically. He stretched his arms a little before asking
"Why do we even have to come to this river Udenna?"
"One,because your dad said so. Two,it is believed that anyone who washes his hands,face and feet with the water will be blessed"
"And how many times have you washed your hands and feet. Common Ude,that's just plain superstition"he said in his American accent
"Whatever. I am blessed in my own way"Ude said and turned away from him. Uchenna didn't mind Udenna being so casual. He was one of his best friends since he arrived any ways. He laughed before keeping a straight face immediately.

He finally found a good spot and made to pull down his trousers when he started to hear a melodious female voice from a distance,singing. He got so bemused by the voice that the urge to answer natures call,disappeared. Like someone hypnotised,he made his way to the source of the voice,the sound of water rushes increasing as he did. He eventually got to another part of the river and found the singer. But there was another thing.

Ronaldo increased his pace as more players continued to dive on him in order to take the ball. He dribbled them all like a god and headed for the Barcelona goal post in great speed when Messi came out of no where and brushed the ball past his greatest rival. Like Mercury,he ran towards the Juventus goal post dodging every dick and harry that came to oppose him.
Edwin watched,sweat almost touching his eyes. "He won't.."He thought as Messi got closer to the post. He closed his eyes,prepared for anything when screams of GOAL pierced his ears. One was fat while the other was muscular but they were both so dark,that their faces couldn't be seen. They stood by a closed kiosk.
"Heysss,both of you,come here"said the fat one. The two guys quickly approached them"good evening officers"they greeted.
"Where are you both coming from?"He asked ignoring their greetings

"And God,her curves were something else"said Uchenna reminiscing his river experience to Ude who just listened and sipped the glass of palm wine in front of him.
