Feni madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi was set on fire as per the “instruction” of the madrasa principal Siraj Ud Dowla, Police Bureau of Investigation Chief Bonoj Kumar Majumder said today

Eight among the 13 arrested persons have been made accused in the case, Bonoj Kumar said at the briefing.



A day before the arson attack on Nusrat, one of the accused Nuruddin met Principal of Sonagazi Islamia Senior Fazil Madrasa Siraj Ud Dowla at the local jail, the PBI chief said.

Upon the instruction of Siraj Ud Dowla, Nuruddin arranged a meeting at the madrasa’s hostel around 9:00pm on April 5, he added.
