HAULAGE MANAGER NEEDED
Innovative Solutions one of Nigeria’s leading recruitment firm located in Ikoyi is seeking to recruit a haulage manager for a renowned transportation industry located on the mainland.
The Haulage manager is responsible for managing, planning and coordinating transport operations, delivery and organization of services

Responsibilities
• ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to and make recommendations for improvements
• manage large teams of staff, often in various locations around the country
• making sure the operation meets its performance and safety targets, monitoring and reporting performance to senior management;
• managing and supervising staff, organizing work shift rosters and coordinating staff training;
• minimizing disruption and resolving any unscheduled delays, making decisions in difficult situations;
• meeting passengers and customers, dealing with complaints and areas of concern;
• analyzing results of surveys on passenger/customer satisfaction, instigating new projects to improve performance;
• ensuring that transport services are available to all through social inclusion initiatives;
• identifying existing and possible future transport problems, developing transport models and investigating the feasibility of alternative means of transport;

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have been in the haulage business for at least 5 years with good knowledge in:
• Fleet of Buses maintenance
• Truck operation and maintenance
• Co-ordination of Drivers
• Knowledge of routes in Nigerian
