*Reshuffling of Ogun tribunal members, Amosun's N1.5bn 'gift' goes down the drain* The desperation and abuse of power of the outgoing Ogun state governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun to install a successor at all cost has hit a brick wall as appeal court president disband the members of Ogun State tribunal which has been confirmed to be working in Amosun's interest having received a 'gift' of N1.5bn from the governor. In the case of Ogun state, Gov. Amosun was said to have given this N1.5bn 'gift' in two tranches to get the favour of tribunal members to have his preferred candidate, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade declared winner of the March 9 gubernatorial election in the state which Prince Dapo Abiodun of the All Progreesives Congress (APC) was declared winner. A source who has been sidelined of many largesse after the APM lost at the poll bitterly divulge the information and said a particular *A09 hilux* was used to convey the money. The source also said a *First bank AGRALE* was also used to convey the second tranche of the cash which some of it included foreign currencies. Having learnt of this shady deals, the appeal court president, Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa disbanded the tribunal members headed by Justice Chinwe Onyeabo with two other members, Justice D. A. Onyigbenu and Justice (Khadi) M.L. Omar. By then, the president ordered the members to leave Ogun state for another judicial assignment. Information gathered by our correspondent revealed that the sanitizing of the judicial system has taken a new shape after the immediate past CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen has been convicted of corrupt practices.
