The media is one of the last hope of information to the masses. It is a very bad sign when the Government restricts or over-stretches the media.Abia state government has left the state blind and incommunicado just to score cheap political points.I stumbled upon a live radio program featuring their state police commissioner today and could not believe what the commissioner was saying. The first was that last friday about 20 people were kidnapped in a timber market at uratta part of Aba alone. The second and most shameful was the one he confessed that several of his men were shot and killed yesterday while on the phone with him.Abians need to save their state by giving us info at different websites and blogsites. What a shame.

Is it not Theodore Orji's govt? He is the same person that wanted to introduce sharia to Abia and was videoed at okija?
The FG needs to swing into action to get this man behind bars soonest, I am quite sure that alone would solve 70% of the kidnapping issue. The next thing is to ensure that immunity for governors is dropped, so that not only will they not behave with impunity while in office, but they will also not have the time afforded by immunity to cover their tracks.
