Considering the number of Nigerians dangote trucks kills on a daily basis, do you think dangote would still be this rich if his trucks killed that much in America?

Of course he would still be rich

Trucks in general kill people in Nigeria

But you hear of Dangote own
Because of the brand attached to the trucks

America does not have bad roads
Amerixa does not have a fantastic corrupt regulatory body

So the chances of him even having an accident this often is minimal

So tell your govt to do the right thing
And stop blaming Dangote

Dangote's vehicles are responsible for a not even up to 10% of fatal accidents on our roads,
This is not a Dangote problem, is a Nigerian problem.
Truth be told, so many drivers plying our roads will be banned from touching the steering of any vehicle in America.

Many Nigerian drivers are on drugs, drink and drive and drive carelessly majority of the time.
Nigeria is not a nation of consequences, as long as our people know that the can get away with killing people on our highways by paying a few thousands to the family of the deceased, get away with drinking and driving by bribing Road safety or Police, etc, this acts will keep on happening

EXACTLY my point

Nigerians seem to be too sentimental

I bet you have never left your village.
Dangote is no different than the old monies in the US.
Unless capitalism becomes a crime, Dangote is as clean as any rich man.

You are not even close, Dangote trucks are not responsible for up to 0.001% of accidents on Nigerian roads every year.
It appears so because Dangote has a name which can be used in newspaper headlines.

considering the Monopoly he enjoys in Nigeria. 2. rich people in the state are into technology. they don't sell cement and help government officials to siphon loot

Dangote does not enjoy monopoly
In every industry he plays in
He has competitors there

Most people up there are sane and won't cross the road where there is pedestrian bridge, they won't also sell by the road side to get hit by truck.

Exactly

At least we still have sensible people on this forum

If his products are accepted at an equivalent rate, yes he can. But it is paradoxical, becos America as an advanced nation, dwell mainly on services rather mere products. The reason why u see d likes of Gates and Bezos on top of d wealth chain. So, realistically, Dangote will be much down down, but still fairly buoyant.

True

He will. The guy is a hardcore entrepreneur and he would succeed anywhere regardless of the tools available to him.

In business it's all about being adaptable....its not the smartest or fastest that survive but those that are most able to adapt to changing conditions.

Nigeria has witnessed different political/military leaders, erratic policy changes, foreign companies entering the market to compete aggressively....yet despite all these Dangota has been consistently at the top.

Are you going to tell me he doesn't have political enemies? ofcuz he does. He's not the only rich person in nigeria with connections. The guy is just too good

In my opinion, I believe he would be a dollar billionaire if he was American. He will adapt to the American standards

He's smart, he's adaptable, he's ruthless...he understands how to play the game. He has the ingredients required to conquer any terrain/territory...those attributes remind me of John D Rockefeller
