Insurgency, civil unrest, war, riot are all good business to the government and some foreign arms dealers.

The Nigerian Army can make bokoharam a history in less than 3 weeks if someone weren't feeding off it. If you look at it carefully, the CIA and it's distant brother - MOSSAD, put their interests in oil reach states and make sure they do everything possible to take some kinda control.

One of the many reasons Putin/Russia is preferable to Yanki in peace missions.

If BH and co are just a bunch of ragtag rebels, who is paying them, and paying for their weapons and fuel etc, for all these years, that even a combination of Nigerian, Chadian and Cameroonian armies cannot stop them? Of course they are getting support and funding from quarters which are hidden from us.
