Previous Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, has approached past President, Olusegun Obasanjo, not to permit his failure with the President Muhammadu Buhari-drove organization swings him to an extremist.

Lamido expressed this in an announcement marked by his media helper, Mansur Ahmed, in response to Obasanjo's blistering comments on the security challenge in the nation.

Obasanjo, who talked at the second session of the Synod held at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Oleh, in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, had said "Boko Haram and herders' demonstrations of brutality were not treated as they ought to toward the start. They have both brooded and created past what Nigeria can deal with alone. They are currently joined and internationalized with ISIS in charge.

"It is never again an issue of absence of training and absence of work for our young people in Nigeria which it started as; it is currently West African colonization, African Islamization and worldwide sorted out wrongdoings of human dealing, tax evasion, medicate dealing, weapon dealing, unlawful mining and routine change."

Lamido has now noticed that such comments originating from the previous president were "particularly not normal for you, sir."

He further said if the comments by Obasanjo were made at a non-religious social affair to a non-religious gathering of people, it would have been middle of the road.

Lamido, who likewise filled in as Obasanjo's Minister of Foreign Affairs, from 1999 to 2003, further said "as pioneers, similar to I have been stating, we ought to never act in outrage in such a case that we do, it can hurt.

"I accordingly approach our supervisor, Obasanjo, not to give his failure with the sitting president a chance to transform him into a biased person. He should not surrender the national stage."
