I should think that a 2 meter dish will get nilesat from lagos

@miju a 2.4m solid dish will hit green on nile but u're on a safer side when u have a 3m. You can consult sammu.Enitan etc. You can also check the '' All about nilesat installation thread''

all you need to do is just adjust your lnb make sure you put the tp on 11900 h 27500 when you are doing the adjustment and you must hit 77% or 78% on the tp before those fta channels can come up. that is how i do install for people if am installing dstv.

i ve try 2 adjust d lnb al i could get is 88% on hitv nd 76% on dstv maybe i wil try it 2morow tank u seguo

if still not able to get those tp after trying Segunfms instructions, then since you are using 65cm you should make 36e your primary lnb.(the one on lnb holder) and ensure you skew is at 8.30 to 9-o clock while facing the dish. Then those tp will pop up.

lets know if you are using a 2 in 1 lnb holder or the shoe lace setup. You can upload picture of your setup so as to know what went wrong in your setup.
I dey watch all tp on both bird With the shoe lace setup' so dont give up!

Dis morning i was able 2 hit green on d fta frequency on ew4 d signal quality dancin 4rm 62%,54% to 20% wen i decided 2 twist d lnb 2 get a stable signal al went off.@niddle9 as 4 my setup pix i would upload it 2morow

@Akini09 try using these frequencies in tracking your w4 12438h 23425 FTA tp should hit 64% tweaking between 8.30 to 9.0 o clock. While
11747h 27500 dstv should be 80% then proceed to adding another lnbf for astra.(at 8'0 to 8'30 skew.) hope that help.

Try checking my set up pics, check the second lnb skew its at something 8-0 to 8-30 O clock.
tweak the lnb using gtv tp u should hit green 50 to 56% then you are good to check other multitv tp,
use these tp's
12572 V GTV
12543 H Infinity
12552 V Multitv

If yes, to d right or left wen am lookin at d lnb frm d back of d dish ?,

yes bro. i could.nt believe it when i first hit green locking on astra on the offset. I was tracking up above the primary lnb and finally hit green below it. So it is the perfect way of combining both two bird on a 65cm.

you must have been missing something out Somewhere. First of all, track your W4/7 using these FTA tp 12438h 23425sr your lnb skew should be at 8.30 to 9.0clock facing d dish. You must ensure you hit 64-68% signal quality. Then input
11747h 27500 dstv and verify you have 80% upward as your signal quality and tilt your dish. Secondly, get another lnbf for astra and connect it to the decoder, input multi tv tp 12552v 19531sr. NOTE! You don't have to touch or move the dish again! All you'll need to do is take the new lnb you've just connected and move it downward at 8.0.clock skew on the tri pod and watch the screen as you move it, signal should pop up. Then tie the lnb wherever you hit green. Then you can tweak for maximum signal strenght you can achieve fom 75% for multitv 12552v 19531sr and 80% for Infinity package 12543H 20800sr. Then you are good to go. You'll need a di-seCq switch to connect both lnb to one decoder.

Nobody is peerfect o jare my brother, we just dey try.
About your setup, I think the problem you are having is maybe you are tracking with old GTV frequency 12572v 2854sr, which they are no longer on again, they have moved to multitv package and now on the same frequency with joytv 12552v 19531sr.
Also Follow the instructions above and let see whats hitting.

finally got both birds on a dish.

My piece of advise,its beta to track w4 using 12435, then offseting multi tv wit 12551.

usin strong lnb as your secondary lnb (astra2) wat i do observe is dat u wont b able 2 hit 75% nd above on multitv.bt usin hitv lnb as your secondary (astra2) u wil hit 75% nd above on multitv.
I've done d installation 4 2 pple d 1st was with strong lnb wich i hit 63% on multi tv & infinity tv y d second, was with hitv lnb wich hit 76% on multitv y 64% on infinity tv.my advise 2 u al is track wit oda lnb  exclude strong lnb as your offset.bt u can use strong lnb as ur primary lnb (eutelsat w4) FTA 4 LIFE
