Please, Is it necessary for a teacher to clear off beards?

it depends on the school, the subject you are teaching and the environment.. what I know is that in the teaching profession, you have to be courteous, decent and neat about what you wear and how you groom. if you are in an environment or state or culture that sees beards as good for men, then it is okay but must be kept neat even at that. if you teach a subject such as Islamic studies or arts, then you shouldn't have an issue keeping your beard neat. but if you are In a place where students, fellow teachers and parents have a phobia or premeditated thoughts about people with beards, you may either have to shave or quit the work sir.
