The Honorable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu led the Nigerian delegation to the 14th Meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) which took place yesterday, 19 May 2019, in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Ibe Kachikwu made a case for the need for continued monitoring of the oil market developments at the KMMC while noting that this will form the framework for decisions that will be made to the OPEC Conference and OPEC/non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting which will hold in June 2019.

During the ensuing dinner event, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu with His Excellency, Khalid Al Falih, Minister of Saudi MlEIM of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the JMMC thanked him for hosting then and also thanking him for the gifts of the Keffiyeh, Agal & Thawb which he wore.
