Apination: Thank you. Most persons just read headlines but don't know the back story. Part of the reasons they voted out was the increasing spate of unemployed persons. She has tried to address that to an extent. But then, politics is politics. It's about who's the better story teller and how the narrative affects the low and middle class. Thats how Trump came. Thats how this Boris is treading. UK may not leave the EU eventually. Hopefully they are observing US and China. 3 Likes |

This can only be seen in a civilized nation. If Nigeria was to be a civilized nation as we parade ourselves to be, our President is supposed to have taken a bow from the office long ago... |

Cameron never suppoted BREXIT. quote author=SoNature post=78679646]So sad. As it is now, nobody wishes to be the British Prime Minister. Negotiating Brexit and building consensus in HoC is an uphill task. These guys should make Jeremy Corbyn the new PM, so that we will see what he can do. It's easier to criticize than lead. Cameron saw this coming and ran away! The biggest challenge now remains the Irish backstop. Britain is at a crossroads as its future is bleak. Well done, May.. You have done your bit. [/quote] |

These people citing "civilized nation", did u omit the part where it seemed like the only honorable exit for her? That's like a certain outgoing Nigerian Governor who wanted a second term so bad but was denied and thought of jumping parties. His impeachment would have been faster than the petitions to oust the former CJN. |

BekeeBuAgbara: They are calling boris so that they can deal with him. Them no born Boris well, nobody wants to bell the cat. And the bell in this case, is a hard brexit. Nobody wants to have it on his/her resume that they led Britain into a recession... Hardcore Brexit Fans want a Hard brexit, and that will be disastrous. Trading in the EU without access the to EU Single window market and riding naked on WTO statues will ruin the pound, kill their economy and send them into a recession which will also vex hardcore brexit fans..... Immediately Ireland and wales will start fresh push to leave a drowning UK, so they are not dragged into a recession. Its a no brainer.... It a trap MP's have left down for anyone who sing Brexit when they become PM... They will push you to a hard brexit and give you the credit for a recession. In the end you will still be forced to resign and handover to next person whose new Job is to take Britain back to the EU. That just it..... 4 Likes 1 Share |

British MPs are cowards, they are afraid to exit EU that British People wanted. They voted to serve the people not their own wishes. Why did they allow the referendum in the first place if they cannot support the outcome of it. What the MPs are doing is treasonable offense, they should obey the outcome of the referendum, exit the EU and bear the consequences. It is their people choice to leave EU. |

This Brexit issue has consumed 2 prime ministers (Cameron and May) already, I hope the next pm can navigate Britain through a successful Brexit deal or they stay put in the EU which I advice they stay |

Apination:Lol. Theresa May is a traitor of democracy and a traitor to her nation. The Britian does not need the EU infact, the EU is collapsing and needs Britain. The EU knows this and are afraid hence they are using fear mongering and name callings. When Hungary banned immigration of Muslims, did the EU not threaten thunder and fire? What have done to Hungary? Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Britain is better of without the EU. Without the EU and with a hard brexit on WTO standards, the UK can enjoy the following privileges : 1) regain their sovereignty and can make their own laws. 2) they can control their borders and effectively obviate the destruction of their working class by the uncontrolled massive influx of immigrants. 3) they can strike trade deals with other countries on their own terms. 4) they can boldly protect their culture, values and identity. These are under threat given the clash between Islamic values and western values. The vices and unwillingness of illegal immigrants to integrate can be tackled without the fear of being called "racist," "xenophobic," "islamophobic," and fear of losing your job or being expelled from school because you happen to be "right wing." @bold The remain economic experts said all sort of things would happen if the British people voted Brexit. Did those things happen? No! Why should you believe them? 1 Like |

tactius: This exactly is my point. They should leave. There shouldn't be a second referendum because it will set a terrible precedent. Any matter they vote on in future will be put to a second vote because the losing side would disagree. Like you said, democracy sometimes means accepting results that we don't like. And the UK is one of the world's most important beacons of democracy 1 Like |

Odingo1:Oga, BRITAIN DOES NOT NEED THE EU. BRITAIN WILL BE BETTER BY A MILLION MILES WITHOUT THE EU. The EU is an organisation that consists of unelected and anti-democratic bureaucracts that make policies and laws without the votes/consent of the people and are damaging Europe with their open border policies and globalisation and multiculturalism agenda. The people are being to wake up. There is nothing good about the EU. |

SoNature:This, being the only thing you said in your very agreeable post, I can't understand why people say it! Cameron should have known the majority would vote to Brexit. He apparently never knew, never prepared, and had to resign because he lost his Remain mandate. And I think he should be tried for treason for getting us in this mess in the first place. Imagine! UK exits from Europe! Doesn't it sound like we'd have to move all of Britain to off the African coast or something to exit Europe? Or is it the Britons who move leaving the land in Europe where it belongs? They gave May way too much to do and broke her. We'd see how this all plays out come Halloween. |
