Amosun and buhari are too close to be separated by sentiments.
They have been together since the early ANPP days. Amosun had always believed in Buhari while some of the present APC members were fighting him.

Yet, somewhere in the East, they waited and waited for him, all of a sudden, Osibanjo reappeared (2nd in 9days) to commission project by his own excellency, Governor Vuvuzela

it's more than that bro the relationship is more than Buhari and Amosun of a thing, once heard the president said "the first place he served was ogun state during his time in the military. He also talked about his love for the state". Remember there was a video showing how he was almost stoned if not stoned during the election rally in Ogun buh he never seize from coming to the state.

on the sham of a campaign embarrassment APC put together last year .

Sentiments is the exact thing binding them together. Buhari decides based on sentiments. He and Amosun have always been together since anpp and cpc days. President Buhari sees this as loyalty and solidarity, virtues he treasures too far above competence or merit. He's too old to change unfortunately. Plus Amosun has a scam property in Abeokuta, a massive mostly empty land that he built a wall around and wrote a gigantic PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI Estate on the walls. He simply knows how to tickle the president.

The Love and affection between the two is genuine. A bit of tension because of Amosun not getting his anointed to become Governor but Buhari deliberately resisted the strong calls from powerful quarters he should punish Amosun and cut him down to size for anti-Party activities. PMB is deficient in some areas but he is an honourable and loyal man in my opinion. To a fault even.

Amosun is his political son. Buhari is genuinely fond of him. Amosun paid his dues and endeared himself to Buhari traversing the entire universe with PMB to work for an APC and Buhari win in 2015. Military men appreciate loyalty.
