Less than forty eight hours after being sworn in,Governor Seyi Makinde has paid Oyo state civil servants salaries in the state.

This is unprecedented considering the fact that most times the salaries take much longer when there's a change in government in all the states.
This is really commendable.

Basic function has become an achievement? Something they worked for? Aren't they entitled to it in the first place? If not for the unfortunate kind of politics our governments play, why should this be a big deal Soldier (governors) go, soldier come, barracks (c.servants) remain.
