1. Turkey farming business- A Mini Turkey Farm
This is an agric bizness with a short turnaround period. You can start
this venture with a room, bq, uncompleted building or any vacant space.
The profit margin is very handsome. Turkeys mature within a few months and
they do not smell like other poultry animals. You can recoup your
investment within 6 months with a very high profit margin.
The key areas are: Feeding, Where to get supplies of young animals, pest
control, housing etc.

2. Custard Powder Production
Custard as we all know is a fast moving food product here in Nigeria.
Start up capital is low

3. Grasscutter farming
4. Meat Delivery/Supply Business. Food related and very profitable. I can
provide more info on this concept if necessary. You can supply meat to
eateries, hotels, restaurants and individuals. You can also bring in live
cows/goats from the North and sell.
5. Soap making. Soap is a fast moving consumer product and production
process is not too complex
6. Exercise Book production
7. You can set up a small bakery and expand in future. Nigerians love bread
8. You can import shoes and other fashion accessories. I know a guy that
imports male casual shoes from the Uk and he sells to wholesale buyers in
Lagos. The rate of return is very high, quick turnover is guaranteed and
the products sell fast because it meets one of the basic needs of man -
Clothing.
9. Transportation. the recent ban on commercial motorcycles in Lagos has
thrown up a huge business opportunity for smart investors who understand
the Lagos business environment.
10. Supply of corporate gift items.
11. Small scale Printing press.
12. Game lounge.

You can also consider:
Table water and pure water business
Export of agric commodities such as ginger, garlic, coacoa or charcoal.
Production of Toilet roll/ Tissue paper/Serviette. I'm doing a feasibility
study on this business right now.

The best Business to start without much Capital is Finders fees
Finders fees is the only business that can bring a lot of money
without you investing much. They only thing you need is to know
exactly how to do it because most people dont get paid as
amateur finders you need to have some time to study the business
very well before you start you need to be a professional finder to be
able to make huge money in the shortest time possible.

I think the best best place to learn this is to go to
www.nigeria-in-business.com you will also learn 3 good business
to start in Nigeria

Hello people...so much ideas here.

BUT PLEASE NEVER GO INTO A BUSINESS WITHOUT DOING YOUR DUE DILIGENCE AND UNDERSTANDING HOW YOU CAN START WITH LITTLE CAPITAL BUILD A LIFESTYLE WITH IT.

The greatest capital you ever need is your mindset.

Lack of capital is not lack of money...it is a poor mindset or a mindset of lack.
Success in business is not in how much cash you have in your bank account...but rather, have your sold your life for money eg. work place cancers (people who manufacture paint, thinners etc), lost your family (working morning till night and leaving house helps to train your children).

Success is in the number of lives you've touched as a result of your business (big or small business)
Success is in gaining wealth while preserving your health
Success is in building a legacy for your children
Success is being available to train your children

Success if Freedom.
Freedom from the boss (you are your boss)
Freedom from the alarm clock (employee lifestyle)
Freedom from the price tag (be available to buy anything without needing to look at the price tag) - FINANCIAL FREEDOM
Freedom to be with Family and loved ones - TIME FREEDOM

The Ultimate Goal of starting any business is FREEDOM - Time Freedom and Financial Freedom.

But mind you, no business is easy.
Almost every new business dies within the first year. Lucky ones stay up to 3 years.
So, if you're going into any business, plan 1 - 5 years ahead.

Something easily overlooked is distributorship.
Since you want to go into a business, you know you should be ready to SELL YOURSELF, walk up to any prospect and MARKET yourself and your business.
Therefore, you can start off by owning a distributorship. Grow capital from the distributorship and start off more comfortable in the business you desire.

I offer Business Development Counselling for Young Entrepreneurs, building marketers and distributors in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.

If you are in Lagos, you can contact me on 08184687043.

Beware of SCAMMERS: I will never ask you for money and none of my reps will ever ask you for money. I will never tell you to transfer any money to me or to anyone. My consulting is free.
