Another positive development for Nigerian Aviation |

OAM4J: How is this going to affect Nigerian Aviation? I have long realized that when Nigerians are appointed into positions with international influence, it hardly ever impacts greatly on the situation back home. Even if it does, the changes are very very little. These laurels go towards the individuals achievements and not towards making our country better! Thats my opinion sha - because there are many past examples of such. |

And we dont have a national carrier. This simply shows that our problems are the government not the individuals. |
Re: History, As Nigerian Becomes Icao President by cyril10(m): 4:52pm On Sep 30, 2010 |
Nigerian problem is not only the Govt. but individuals too. Nigerian Airways fail becouse of the HODs and managers, some Nigerians misuse Govt. institutions, they run it carelessly becouse it doesn't belong to them. |
Re: History, As Nigerian Becomes Icao President by SamMilla1(m): 4:58pm On Sep 30, 2010 |
cyril10: Then it is duty of the government to fish out those people, prosecute them, punish them publicly and teach others some lessons. There is nothing called individuals in government institutions. If anything goes wrong, the govt takes responsibilities. I see everytime were rogue soldiers kill people carelessly, the govt prosecutes them, jail them and take the responsibilities of compensating the victims. Nigerian leaders usually wait for the damage to be done completely before doing anything. I blame it on the fact that semi-illitetrates has been running this country since Azikiwe stepped down. Funny enough , our first president Dr. Azikiwe was more educated that all the people who came after him and we are 50years old. JEEZZ! We are simply going South , |
