I am Afemai, not Bini. I don’t understand my own culture, not to mention any other in Edo state. Bini culture is foreign to me. I lived in Benin-City for the most of my Nigerian life but never really understood the language or culture!

Like all parts of Nigeria. . . . There are norms and practices. Do you expect them to forget their own culture and take up foreign ones?
