It seems Aketi wants to incure the wrath of Oduduwa on himself and his household.

How dare him place a ban on our recreational activities? This is what we love doing and it has become a norm in our region.

Aketi, thread with caution.

It should be after these and other measures are confirmed to have been efficiently implemented that any decent goevrnment should enforce a ban. Why ban first then ask public and private buildings to provide toilets in 6 months? What hapens within that time? Besides what about providing government-owned public toilet facilities? I hope the state government is also ready to prvide sanitary, modern toilets in all its schools and institutions at least to show good example...

ideynl1:
Open defection is a culture in Yoruba land, the same way skull mining and ritual killings are culture.

I doubt if this ban can hold.
