June 12: ‘MKO Abiola Didn’t Die In Vain’ – Dele Momodu Reacts To Renaming Of Abu by Gistok1: 10:40pm On Jun 12, 2019
Applause Magazine distributor and big news shot, Dele Momodu, has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari's choice, to rename the Abuja National Stadium after the late MKO Abiola.

Abiola is the assumed champ of the June 12, 1993, presidential decision, which was canceled by the then military government driven by Ibrahim Babangida. The president uncovered this during his debut discourse, during the Democracy Day festivity at the Eagle Square in Abuja on Wednesday.

Talking on Channels Television, Momodu stated: "It's daily of bliss that President Muhammadu Buhari has gone past other individuals who came in front of him and he has perceived that watershed date, he has viewed the victor.

"We are pleased that Abiola did not pass on futile." The arena, which was opened in April 2002, sits more than 60,000 fans, yet has endured poor support as of late.
