A female corps member kidnapped early this year by the Boko Haram has been released from the insurgents’ captivity.

Halima Umar, a serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member was abducted around Gwoza in the south eastern part of Borno early in January by Boko Haram, the military said.

She was rescued after days of military operation and synergy with some partners, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division, Brig Gen Abdulmalik Bulama Biu disclosed.

I have not read, but I hope she is not the one in the middle? If she is, the reason of her release is obvious. Boko Haram likes fresh juice.

If this lady was a Christian, I am sure her release would have been impossible, yet our VP sleeps soundly at night and go about telling different degrees of lies to defend the failed government instead of him to honorably tender his resignation like most white leaders would do, its okay undecided

Thank God she's back, I lost hope in the military already after Buratai confirmed he doesn't believe his boys anymore, who do we run to? SAR, those ones where specially packaged and sent to Nigeria by the Devil.
It's high time the government legalize guns for self defense pls.

She was kidnapped in January and dis ppl are reporting she was released afta days of military operation lol... From January till dis very day is around 5months ... Anyways it's a gud thing she has been released.. We know she wasn't rescued but released afta ransom was paid..
