Nigerian law enforcement agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Thursday re-arraigned an American, Marco Antonio Ramirez, before the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja for allegedly defrauding some Nigerians of $565,000 (over N203,000,000). Marco Antonio Ramirez was arrested in Nigeria and charged after allegedly scamming thousands of dollars from three Nigerian men. According to reports, he promised to obtain American Green Cards for them with the money.
