It's always painful to have to go through savings to pay for car repairs, and lately, the economy is even more difficult to develop. To make sure we get the value of our cars and minimize repair costs, here are some simple, easy-to-remember tips on how to keep your car in top condition.

1.
Oil

Oil is the blood of your car and without it the car will not drive far or quiet. Allow your mechanic show you how to properly test your oil and change the oil every 4828 to 5632km. While oil manufacturers have claimed that their oil can last 16093km, it's generally best to use the same oil for no more than 8047km to maximize engine reliability and efficiency over the long term. Check the oil regularly, about once a week, and change it or have it changed when you reach the limit of 6,400 to 7,200 km.

2.
Keep brakes, belt and battery in good condition

The brake systems of cars must be replaced regularly to ensure the maximum braking effect. If you observe any problems with the brakes, take your car to have the brakes checked immediately. If the brakes fail, it can cause a very serious crash.

3.
Observe warning labels

When your car's dashboard lights up, notify your trusted mechanic. Delaying a repair can cause irreparable damage to the car and make repairs painfully expensive, ensure that you reach your mechanic as soon as possible.

4.
Keep the body intact

While most people would not be neglected in public, the cosmetic appearance of our car is important. Simple things like washing and waxing your car regularly, and caring for bumps will make your car more valuable and prevent long-term problems such as rust and fading.

5.
Keep the interior clean

Clean and vacuum the interior as needed. The interior is often a selling point when it comes to swapping or selling the car. Many may not be interested in the oil or tyres, but if the CD player does not work or the interior looks a bit dirty, the deal did not materialize. It was said that the value of the car is kept in the cabin and this statement applies.

6.
Use the right tyres with the right air pressure

Make sure they are properly inflated to the pressure specified by the manufacturer. Tyre testers are cheap and easy to use. Tyres should be replaced if wear indicators appear between the treads. If you are not sure how to identify the wear indicators for the profile, ask your local tire dealer. Inspect your tyres every other day for pressure and every week for wear or damage. Have them replaced when the wear exceeds the allowable limits

7.
Make sure the windows are clear and functional

Make sure all windows, mirrors and lights are clean and not broken. Restore any broken lights or mirrors as soon as possible. Having small windshield tears from a windshield repair center determine if the windshield can be repaired or replaced. Check for cracks and damage regularly

8.
Refill all liquids

The other lifeblood of the car is the fluids that the power-train must have. Coolant, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, windscreen washer fluid, brake fluid and other fluids must be checked at least once a week. Ask your mechanic to demonstrate the method to check it.

9.
Emission Control Systems

Depending on where you live, you may need to periodically check your car for emissions. In general, a specialist must perform the diagnosis. Oxygen sensors and EGR valves are two common culprits

In summary, spend money on it.

You dont even need to do this when money plays. Just drive into a Total workshop every 3months and they will do the rest and fix. Bill will be sent to your desk.
