In the game of football anything can happen in knocked out stage. It doesn't matter if a team struggled to qualify in the group stage

10000 US dollars/match . I don't know any African FA that pays its players that much.

So for your eyes, that one looks like a coach. After all you've seen of him at the World Cup and here, you still regard Rohr as a manager?? I weak ooo

Imagine.
Those idiots are highly paid. And sometimes they get bonus for every goal scored.

If we invest this much in atletics, it would be far rewarding.
Blessing okagbare just won the IAAF diamond league in both 100m and 200m category.
There are so many okagbare in Nigeria.

No Nigerian player was exceptional
With all sincerity, Kenneth Omeruo was exceptional. He helped us win the first two games, and we lost the only game he didn't play.

Nobody will want to reward mediocrity. The outstanding players in the Eagles team are Ola Aina, Ndidi, Chukwueze and maybe Etebo. The rest are just keeping up appearances including the coach.
You forget Omeruo... our most valuable player so far. I dont think we would have lost to Madagascar if he was selected in place of Balogun.

When you reward foreign based players with little sense of patriotism with the sweat of home based players who qualified us to such competition then yes this is what you will have.

Agreed, but what's with the delay in the payment of their match bonuses

You'll agree with me that apart from the passion to serve ones father's land, another major form of motivation is money.

We have good home based players, why aren't they playing?
Look at Egypt for instance, most of their players play in the Egyptian league, Algeria and other countries too.
We are using huge money to attract foreign players, and begging some Old papa to stay on the team.
Nigeria football can never get better if we don't go back to the roots!

Are they going to spend their bonuses on the pitch?
Why not focus on the game and get your money later?
This is not the first time they are playing for Nigeria. They know they would get paid anyway, so why the obsession with money?

And it is not as if they are quality players. These are mediocre players holding everybody to ransom

They couldn't even leave the group stage of the world cup despite everything the NFF did for them.

We've written to Gernot Rohr already, if they like let them hear. Mikel has no business in that team.

Before you draw your swords on the super eagles players,

consider these: -
Who is the exceptional player in the eagle's squad

who among them is playing for top clubs in Europe

Do they get the kind of motivation(match bonuses) other African countries participating in the competition are getting

this caf list is questionable...what did Cameroon played that two players made list and substitute bench...de won Just one match...Ndidi should at least make the bench...even omeruo....
