Is it palatable? No. Is it inevitable? Yes. Citing these answers, whether it's justifiable or not shouldn't be your concern at this material time, because reaction is always a product of something - no form of abuse is good or justifiable. You should be looking towards avoidance. Maybe you can tell us in detail what happened. Personally, it's inevitable if I have a close relationship with a contriver - opinionated people, just like parasitic people, and contrive are inseparable, because they gain their energy and resources from being expedient.
