So, you don't need English to study Islamic Law?

Chai, Chief Justice of Nigeria?

Onye mere anyi ihe a

I mean having an English, F9...this is an indictment on ABU...
Professor Oloyede, comman confirm this oooo...

Let's be clear about something.
Up north the worries has never been about good grades rather "just go to school and get a certificate". Up north, the struggle is never about "can you speak good English" or the struggle against the "pull him down syndrome". Up north, even after lack of certificate, after all the Toronto certificates and very poor grades, the "UP NORTH" still controls a significant portion of Nigeria's wealth and resources.
Do you know why the north controls Nigeria even though they have the highest number of uneducated people? Because they don't seek to pull each other down unlike we the southerners.
While fellow southerners are supposed to protect and help each other to a common goal, all we do is fight and drag each other back.

Some of the northerners at the helm of affairs don't even have the qualifications that could match up people from the south

Some post on Nairaland are just sensational; just for entertainment alone, nothing to discuss.
This man finished secondary school in 1968.
He claimed termites destroyed his school certificate in 1998 and swore an affidavit to the same in 2002.

A reasonable person would first ask what subjects were recorded in the certificate issued in 1968.
Secondly, is the English language part of the requirements to study Islamic Law from which He graduated in 1980?

While you are trying very hard to discredit someone who has become the number one Judge in Nigeria today, you have successfully exposed how ignorant and mischievous you are.

Gone are the days when we have intelligent people producing meaningful contents on Nairaland.
he should have been made Chief Justice of Islamic northern Nigeria.... What does he know outside Islamic law? Buhari have killed Nigeria.

The affidavit suggests he completed his secondary education in 1968 but the WAEC results are from 1973.

It's either he combined this shown result with another,or this isn't the complete roll of WAEC results he obtained.

Unfortunately, Nairaland is filled with dunderheads as urchins. Expecting intelligent deductions would be expecting to squeeze water from diamond.

He completed his Primary School (FLSC) in 1968. The main thing here is the WAEC result shows 1973 while he completed his Degree in 1980.

In those days there are no such thing as strike and I am very sure the course is 4 years, hence he spent 3 years after his secondary school before gaining admission. Your second paragraph is more logical as conclusion, he might have sit for another examination within those 3 years. He may have combined or use entire different results for his admission.

What many failed to note is that when presenting documents for political appointments, is more advisable to present the WAEC certificate issued by your Secondary School than presenting any other certificates. Reasons why Senator Adeleke presented his even when the results is nothing to write home about. Above all, the University as at that time has certified his certificate/results and confirms that he has satisfied ALL REQUIREMENTS to be awarded First Degree Certificate.

His appointed as CJN was not occasioned by the Executive (Buhari) but by the Judiciary that has promoted him to such rank that made him the next qualified CJN.

What am I even saying undecided he does not know the meaning!!!

In a country where the likes of Falana, Agbakoba and the likes are and this man was made a CJN undecided

It's a big slap on the intellects!!!

stop displaying your ignorance here
is falana a judge or is agbakoba a judge?
only judges become chief justice not lawyers
all of you fooling yourslves on this thread should please save us your drama, he has been confirmed no amount of blackmail will make NJC sack him.......is it now you know that entry requirements for admission in the north is different from the south?
the north is far behind the south in education, for them to be able to fill their quota of admissions they allow less qualifications , the south will do same if it finds itself in the same position as the north
remember Dino NYSC saga,Dino has not graduated properly but that ABU quota will be filled, Dino and his likes were allowed to go to service while finalizing their programmes, thats the kind of thing the south can also do if it find itself in such a situation

Oga expert before you condemn others read very well. Termites destroyed his first school leaving certificate not waec. The subject of dispute is his waec where he obviously had deficiencies by today's standard. So before you remove the small particle, remove the log from your own eyes first.

What is the relationship between waec and leaving certificate? What other certificate does waec issues apart from leaving certificate?
Remove logs from your brain.
If you have any knowledge at all you would realise that the certificate destroyed by termites was issued by waec and you should have asked for attestation or a duplicate copy of that certificate.
I have every reason to suspect that he must have supplied a duplicate copy from waec along with the affidavit which the op refused to show.

You are just trying to br relevant by making senseless insinuations.
Only Cambridge and waec issued leaving cert qualifications around the time in questions.
Waec was established in 1951/52. The man may have sat for either of the two.
Tell us what you know and stop acting like a typical Nigerian youth.

Appointing him is part of buhari's plan to Islamize Nigeria. And to think that senathieves approved of him show why they deserved to be called thieves. It is a hopeless situation and one that is devoid of any kind of rationality.

Nigeria value system is very poor and wack. Instead of setting the bar higher and higher to get the best, rather we keep on lowering the bar to hoist the less cerebrals to the top. So how then can you expect meteoric development while being lead by lilliputians.
