Under Age Voting in Nigeria

Despite the symposium and several awareness towards Electoral Malpractice in the last General Election Held in Nigerian. Election which was scheduled to take place in February 23rd and March 9th 2019.


Unfortunately postponed by the National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The President and National Assembly should take place on February 23rd, and the Second casting to come up March 9.

AKPABIO AND 42 OTHERS MAKE LIST OF PRESIDENT BUHARI MINISTERIAL NOMINEES

President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded the list of ministerial nominees to Senate for confirmation.

There are 43 nominees by the President.
On the list announced by Senate President Ahmed Lawan are former ministers Babatunde Fashola, Rotimi Amaechi, Ogbonnaya Onu, Adamu Adamu(Bauchi), Senator Chris Ngige(Anambra).

Also on the list are former Governors Rauf Aregbesola(Osun) George Akume(Benue) Timipre Sylva(Bayelsa), Adeniyi Adebayo(Ekiti).
Some of the newcomers are Senator Godswill Akpabio(Akwa Ibom), Sunday Dare(Oyo), Festus Keyamo(Delta), Sharon Ikeazor(Anambra), Senator Tayo Alasoadura(Ondo), Senator Gbemisola Saraki (Kwara) and Olorunnibe Mamora(Lagos).
Lawan said screening of the nominees commences tomorrow.

Citing section 147 (2) of the 1999 Constitution as amended, President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded forty three names of Ministerial nominees to the Senate for confirmation. 

The President appointed one person per State in addition in concert from the six political  zones of the country.
