Buhari “heavily-controlled By World Powers” – Historian Dahiru Yahaya by Naijiant: 8:05am On Jul 29, 2019
Dahiru Yahaya, a professor of history at Bayero University Kano, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is doing the bidding of “world powers” by continuing to detain Shia leader Ibrahim Zakzaky, whose Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) was proscribed last week as a “terrorist group” by an Abuja High Court.

Yahaya, speaking in Hausa during an interview, named those “world powers” controlling Buhari as America, Saudi Arabia and Israel, alleging that Buhari is “a staunch ally of Israel”. This is unlikely to go down well in Buhari’s Sunni-Islam dominated northern Nigeria stronghold.
