The Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has congratulated the APC governorship candidate in the 2019 governorship election in the state, Dr. Uche Ogah on his nomination by President Buhari and confirmation by the Senate as minister of the Federal Republic.

In a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onyebuchi Ememanka Esq, Ikpeazu described Ogah as a worthy and successful son of Abia State with a deep passion for public service.

While stating that it's time for primordial political considerations to give way for deliberate and concerted efforts geared towards the collective good of Abia people, the governor in the spirit of statesmanship, good conscience and love for the people expressed readiness to forge a strategic collaboration that will benefit the generality of the people of Abia State irrespective of political affiliations.

Recall that governor Ikpeazu of PDP and Ogah of APC in the build up to the 2019 election was at each other's throat for the soul of Abia.
