A five year old girl, Zainab Muritala is missing. She was discovered missing onJuly 19, 2019, when she didn’t return home at 1b Abikoye street, Amukoko, area of Lagos state, after going to buy biscuit.

Her father, Mr Ramon Muritala told The Nation that Zainab was noticed missing around 7pm.

Describing Zainab as a lively young girl, Muritala said: “She was playing outside the compound around 7pm that day when she went to her guardian who is my sister to ask for money to buy biscuit. She went to buy the biscuit while my sister waited for her to return, but we have been waiting for her return since then. We went out to look for her but could not find her”, he said.

He said the case has been reported to different police stations but all effort has proved abortive as the child has not been found. He said the search is still ongoing and begged anyone with useful information to report to the nearest police station.

Send a 5 year old to buy biscuits by 7pm while the sisters and parents wait?
This man should be flogged and jailed, I myself don't go out after coming in for the day since the day I almost stepped on a black serpent.
It was moving hurriedly in front of me, I wasn't bothered, I thought it was a lizard. I just turned on my phone torch, I couldn't believe what I saw.

I had one neighbor like that, who does nothing for a living, it is when the husband comes anytime from 9pm that they will start sending the children to buy stuff, then they will start echoing their names in the darkness one by one. Even 10pm!

This is bad parenting. I have a 7 years old, he doesn't even know where they sell biscuit talkless of sending him to buy by 7pm. God will bring her out because she is innocent. Be careful next time

There is more to this from the parent, how can u allow 5yr old to go out at that hour. Their carelessness is out of this world.
