veggieman2be:

the fruiting is scanty not much some stand Have 2 some 7 others 9 fruits...

But the local ones have like 15 some 20 fruits.

There is a manual method of pollinating tomatoes using your finger or a stick to increase fruiting. I've done myself - just saw a YouTube video.

I think you can even cut a branch of tomato and just plant it, it will also grow roots

Great one. Very Educative.

You made a comment about local and hybrid seeds. You said the local is fruiting better than the hybrid. What could be the problem and what would be your advice?
Is local better than hybrid?
When is it advisable to begin tomato farming?
What diseases should we pro actively prevent and what are the chemicals required to do such?

Thank you.

Yes you can just make sure the stem that has the balded part where the roots grow out of (that's what I call it grin) is planted underneath the soil. Make sure the branch is at least 8 inches long.

I tried planting tomatoes and bellpeppers in my garden 2 years ago. I had a good harvest but end blossom rot messed up my harvest. This year I'm sticking to herbs. I have 4 massive bitterleaf plants.

Look at 3 of them in the background.

I will need assistance in terms of what to do when there are issues as the journey of my
tomatoes moves on because is going to be live with pictures of activities and progress.

I want to thank @Jidestroud for inspiring me both on NL and Whatsapp
Also @Okoroemeka the pepperman.
@Ogbongenet
@Olamimo12
@Jethro2
@pistotito the analyst
And numerous others.

Your advice would be appreciated.

May the herdsmen and their cows not locate your farm. This is my sincere prayer...
