So pathetic. This boy should be charged to court. There's juvenile court in Nigeria but many don't know. In fact there's juvenile prison for underage children like this when they commit crime. I remember borstals juvenile home in ABK, we used to take food to the Muslim among the boys during Ramadan. It was always heart wrenching to see those boys there. The juvenile prison was more or less a rehabilitation centre. *Edit* After watching the video, I don't see any evidence that the boy is a Boko Haram member. the problem with the north is that they place too much emphasis on power. to get this power, they believed they needed to take total control of the military in order to get the military, they left every other aspect of life for it - opportunity cost / foregone alternatives in the military all you got is your riffle, that is your life, that is your respect, that is your value. loose it and loose all the riffle is put in the faces of everyone up north as the in thing to get, y get a degree when u can get power with the riffle so goes the narrative. at the end, every northern child anticipate the day s/he would hold unto his own riffle issued to him/her by the armed forces. allies or the enemy . it doesnt matter, just clinch to your own riffle. i bet a southern child of his age would grab a football over that riffle if presented with both to make a choice. Because the sub conscious of the southern child have been programmed to be a doctor, an engineer , a lawyer , a business man when s/he grows up so lets play football now! and the northern child would still grab his riffle, while wait till you grow up when u can get your riffle now! afterall being in the military is their trophy. that child should be taken into solitary confinement he needs to forget what a gun looks like and what it can be used for. child soldiers are more deadly than any other thing, they have no conscience, they have no fear. u could see how bold he was to still approach the soldier asking for the real deal. 6 Likes |
