A small price to pay
Crouch down, bag in hand, as I scoop
Everytime I go on a long trip,
My sitter becomes some treasured jewelry
Thank yous and thank yous and thank yous because
What would I have done if I had nowhere to leave my dog?

A small fund to pay
Getting up early in the day for a quick walk so she'd pee
Every single morning, and every single night and well,
I have learnt to appreciate grasses and streetside garbage cans
And appreciate those coookoo looking folks
Who actually pick up after their dogs as I do

A small sacrifice, I say
To have paid to purchase her
Driving 2 hours and returning with my doggie
Sometimes the food can get costly and grooming can be too
But hey! You havent seen what she does
Everytime I come home from school

A huge stress to my day
she barks at strangers and
sometimes she just wont listen
And thats how I know, I too, was made for her.

A lot of knowledge to gain
To know that dogs mentruate thesame
And smaller ones bark alot cus
they really are afraid
And that liver and peanuts are dogs' best treats
Oh and my suprise when I learnt that onions are poor for their health

And a whole lot of smiles its true
Everytme she wags her tail
I look up and bless the day
October 12, 2007. My joy was born.

So today, I bless it again
And thank God for making dogs for humans to love
If she ever leaves, I'll be left alone
And I dont want another dog to fill the hole because
Truly, aint no dog in this world like my Lhasa-Poo Dream
